The July 2nd 2010 presentation made by SFMS to Fred and Dinah Gretsch. The portrait, commissioned by SFMS and painted by Sandy Branam, was presented with gratitude for the tremendous support from the Gretsch Foundation. Over the past eight years, Gretsch donations of guitars, some used in the "guitar art" program and others signed by major music celebrities, have raised $40,000 to support SFMS festivals. Donations of Gretsch banjo parts have made possible three banjo assembly workshops sending over 75 new banjo players on their way. SFMS highly values its partnership with the Gretsch Foundation.
